Most plastic surgeons would agree that breast reduction surgery is probably the operation that makes the biggest change and improvement to the lives and wellbeing of our patients.

My role, and a role I enjoy, when seeing a new patient is trying to advise whether I feel surgery will be the right thing, and whether it will achieve the outcome and improvements that a patient wants. This goes for any cosmetic procedure including breast enlargements, liposuction, eyelid surgery, facelift, tummy tucks, rhinoplasty, labiaplasty, brachioplasty etc.

When a lady makes an appointment to see me about a breast reduction, and she tells me she wears a GG bra- I dont really need to know know much more - I am very likely to be keen and encouraging for her, if she is able in terms of costs, recovery time etc, to go ahead with surgery.

A lady spoke to me this week - complaining that she had all the usual problems of being large breasted. " .....each one is bigger than my head!" That sounds like a good indication for surgery.
